We’re excited to officially announce the launch of NoxTLS, a modern TLS and cryptography library built for embedded systems, connected devices, IoT products, industrial systems, and security-focused applications.
We designed NoxTLS from the ground up with a clear goal: to make adding security to embedded devices easier.
Too many projects we’ve seen fail on the security front because
We’re happy to announce that we’ve released the first initial release of the NoxTLS Crypto and TLS Library which is an open source implementation of a variety of cryptographic algorithms and full support for TLS 1.0 – 1.3 algorithms.
One of the biggest frustrations with many security libraries is integration complexity. As soon as you add the library
NoxTLS aims to simplify:
- Platform abstraction
- Cryptographic backend integration
- TLS configuration
- Certificate handling
- Memory customization
- Debugging and observability
- Hardware offload integration
The project is being developed with the expectation that engineers will need to port, customize, inspect, and extend the stack.
That means cleaner APIs, clearer architecture, and easier debugging.
Built for Embedded Engineers
NoxTLS is designed for real-world firmware and embedded software teams. Having worked on a slew of products with security challenges, we recognized that adding security is complicated and a big part of what we’re looking to achieve is to simplify this
